BookBar
BookBar is a concept bookstore in Denver’s Berkley district that is locally owned and run. BookBar is a community meeting area that combines a bookstore and a wine bar. Book enthusiasts are welcome to lounge, read, meet, and discuss books.
BookBar also has a cuisine menu with locally sourced products and handcrafted meals, as well as recurrent events including Happier Hour Story Time, CoffeeTalk, and author appearances.

Broadway Book Mall
The Broadway Book Mall is a locally owned and operated bookstore in Denver’s Baker neighborhood. The Broadway Book Mall is the offspring of the (now-defunct) Denver Book Mall, and it houses nine of the original bookstores.
Many of the books in the store’s collection are autographed and include mystery, horror, science fiction, fantasy, and general fiction. The majority of the books are lightly used, but they also have a large selection of new books. Cookbooks, politics, women’s concerns, Hispanic literature, African-American literature, gay and lesbian issues and literature, humor, children and young adult, gardening, books on books and writing, audiobooks, and general non-fiction are also available.

Capitol Hill Books
Since 1981, Capitol Hill Books has been a fixture in Denver’s Capitol Hill area. The largest searchable database of used books in Denver may be found at this bookstore. Fiction, nonfiction, history, foreign language books, and more are available for purchase.
This bookstore gives back to the Denver community by donating a portion of the proceeds from discounted red cart books to a number of local nonprofit and charitable groups.
They also offer a 10% discount on books for use in the classroom for teachers, as well as a 10% discount on used books for a year when you spend $100 on used books using your bibliomaniac card.

City Stacks Books & Coffee is a family-owned and runs bookstore and espresso bar in Denver’s LoDo area.
City Stacks specializes in fiction and nonfiction books, as well as games, puzzles, calendars, T-shirts, pens and pencils, mugs, coffee and tea, press pots, chocolate, notebooks, pottery, and cards, among other things.
