Aaron Rodgers Loses 4th Straight; Bryan Anger Launches 83-Yard Punt
Sunday night, former Cal star Aaron Rodgers' challenging season took a turn for the worse as he did well simply to keep his club in the game against Buffalo.
The offensive line of the Green Bay Packers was completely outmatched by the defensive front of the Buffalo Bills, which resulted in a loss for Green Bay of 27-17 and their fourth straight defeat.
In a game where the Packers were always on the point of losing, four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers, who has won that honour the last two seasons, delivered a touchdown pass in the fourth quarter to keep his team in the game.
Only twice did Rodgers get sacked, but the Bills' pressure compelled the Packers to keep their passing game to a minimum until the very end. Additionally, three of Green Bay's top receivers were absent.
203 yards, two touchdowns, one interception, and a 91.4 passing rating on 19 of 30 attempts from Rodgers. Both touchdown passes went to unproven receivers.
Romeo Doubs received this goal-scoring pass first, as seen below, and Samori Toure received it afterwards. Both are distinct from Davante Adams.
